Clinical Nurse Med Surg Part Time

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a 43-bed Med/Surg unit, promoting patient and family-centered care in a healing environment. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration while developing individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team. Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, ensuring communication of care plans across the continuum. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including cultural and spiritual preferences. This safety-sensitive position requires constant alertness; the role supports career progression through the BJC RN Career Ladder.
