Clinical Nurse Med Surg Nights

Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation on a 16-bed medical, med surg/ortho unit. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration while promoting patient safety and regulatory compliance. Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care, accounting for patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations. Work in a constant state of alertness as a safety-sensitive position on night shift.
