Clinical Nurse Med Surg Nights

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a 16-bed medical, med surg, and ortho unit while promoting patient and family-centered care. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration. Collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals, ensuring communication across the continuum. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including cultural and spiritual preferences. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development.
