Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Manager role guiding day-to-day clinic operations in an ambulatory setting under the Clinical Nurse Director. Responsibilities include overseeing RN Case Managers, Clinic RNs, and Medical Assistants; ensuring workflow efficiency, accuracy of interventions in participant care plans, timely response to physician orders, and active participation in care planning. Lead CMS/DHCS audits as audit lead, develop corrective actions, analyze data for trends and improvement opportunities, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery. Requires RN license and a nursing degree (BSN preferred); 2+ years managing ambulatory clinic operations and experience with elderly populations; CPR/First Aid within 180 days of hire preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or relevant healthcare field preferred; professional experience may be substituted
- Unencumbered registered nurse (RN) state license required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience overseeing an ambulatory clinic operation including RN, LVN, and MA staff; equivalent nursing leadership experience in a high volume, outpatient setting may be substituted
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population
