Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Liaison for Palliative Care coordinates referral of patients to palliative/hospice services, educates physicians, nurses, and community members about palliative care vs. hospice, and supports marketing/communication efforts for LCFL’s palliative care program. Works with palliative care team to develop and implement role, maintains relationships with physicians and staff, captures referral data, and provides ongoing clinical follow-up and program support. Typical hours Tue-Fri, 10-hour shifts; flexible with schedule as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of North Carolina
- Two years’ experience; hospice/home care experience preferred
- Experience in marketing, public affairs, community relations or hospital liaison roles preferred
