Clinical Nurse

Coordinate and monitor patient care in the assigned clinical area, administering oral and injectable medications while ensuring narcotics security per KP standards. Initiate and monitor IV therapy, provide wound care, and respond to emergency situations throughout the medical facility by triaging walk-in patients and managing workflow delivery systems. Implement and evaluate patient teaching plans covering surgery, wound care, diabetes, and hypertension. Act as a resource to LPNs and Clinic Assistants, serving as a patient advocate to resolve problems within the HCT or escalate unresolved issues. Partner with physicians to coordinate care through message management, provide phone triage, and schedule appointments. This role supports the Urogyn and Gyn-Onc primary departments, with locations in Lutherville, South Baltimore, and LVT.
