Clinical Nurse

Assess and treat phototherapy patients according to protocols, triage patient calls, and coordinate prescriptions under physician direction. Collaborate with departments to assist comprehensive care, retrieve lab results, and communicate findings to patients. Perform minor surgical and laser procedures including biopsies, injections, and laser treatments while overseeing specimen preparation. Provide crisis intervention, manage complex cases, and ensure longitudinal care through scheduling and case management. Serve as a resource for staff, trainees, and patients regarding clinical care, medications, and procedures. Maintain educational requirements and contribute to staff training and patient counseling within the Department of Dermatology outpatient clinics.
