Job Summary
Provides direct patient care in Interventional Radiology/Neuroradiology within the Barnes-Jewish Hospital MRI/Radiology service lines. Applies the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to patients undergoing vascular and interventional procedures, including post-treatment home care needs and medication administration. Educates patients and families, supports patient safety and regulatory compliance, documents individualized plans of care, and coordinates care across the interprofessional team and across the continuum of care. Demonstrates leadership, professional development, and collaboration with radiology staff to advance nursing care and patient outcomes. This is a safety-sensitive RN role with a schedule from 7:30 am to 6 PM plus call.
Required Qualifications
- RN License
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's
- 1-2 years IR/Cath Lab/ED/ICU experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Safety-sensitive position
- Ability to work 7:30 am to 6 PM plus call
