Job Summary
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting. Coordinates and delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director. Responsibilities include education of patients/families, evaluation and revision of plans of care, implementation of care for patients with complex needs, leadership in unit goals and interdisciplinary collaboration, comprehensive patient assessment and discharge planning, planning with multidisciplinary resources, and engagement with ongoing practice improvement and research. Requires RN licensure in NC, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- One (1) year of nursing experience
