Job Summary
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting, coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process. Responsibilities cover education, evaluation of care, implementation of complex patient care, leadership in unit goals and performance improvement, patient assessment and planning, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development. Requires RN licensure in NC and BLS, with at least one year of nursing experience. The role is onsite with night schedule for Nash UNC Health Care-Nash Hospitals (NGH Mtsu) in Rocky Mount, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- One year of nursing experience
