Job Summary
Provides nursing care using the nursing process in assessing, planning, diagnosing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient care. Delivers care in collaboration with other disciplines to achieve optimal outcomes. Works on a 12-hour night shift in the PCU/Tele/Med-Surg float pool with a 0.9 FTE. Requires CA RN license, BLS, ACLS; 1 year of medical/surgical experience and 1 year of ICU/PCU/Telemetry experience. Practices within the California Nursing Practice Act and ANA ethical standards; serves patients 1 year and older.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- PCR (Med/Surg) 1 year medical/surgical experience
- PCR (Progressive Care/Telemetry) 1 year recent ICU, PCU and/or Telemetry experience
- Registered Nurse License - California Board of Registered Nursing
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association
- Ages of Patients Served: all age groups one year of age or greater
