Job Summary
Provide nursing care using the nursing process for a 0.9 FTE Day shift position in the PCR Float Pool covering PCU/Tele/MS. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, diagnosing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient care; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes; maintaining adherence to the ANA Code of Ethics and ANA Bill of Rights for Nursing; promote a healing environment and patient-centered care. Requires California RN license, BLS and ACLS, experience in Med/Surg and ICU/PCU/Telemetry, and strong communication, organization, and delegation skills. 72 bi-weekly hours across a 12-hour day shift.
Required Qualifications
- RN license - California (California Board of Registered Nursing)
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Association)
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- One year medical/surgical experience
- One year recent ICU/PCU/Telemetry experience
