Job Summary
Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care to adult patients varying in acuity. Recognize and respond to patient changes such as cardiac rhythm or respiratory distress. Operate complex equipment including heart monitors, ventilators, and blood pressure devices. Communicate patient advocacy and care conditions to surgeons and anesthesiologists. Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient safety and outcomes. Maintain cultural and religious diversity awareness across all interactions. Requires BSN, NYS RN license, and ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications. 1+ years acute care experience preferred. Night shift, per diem/part-time.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years' of acute care experience
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- NYS RN license and registration
- AHA BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification

- Critical care experience
- HCAHPS knowledge
- EPIC knowledge
