Clinical Nurse GI/GU (Saint Louis)

Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for a diverse population needing colorectal and urology surgery. Promote patient and family-centered care by educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration. Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team while ensuring communication across the continuum of care. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including patient preferences and cultural values. Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development. Work a 3x12 schedule as a full-time RN on a 38-bed surgical unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
