Job Summary
Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and clinical status, in inpatient settings. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and institutional policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care. Provide patient and family education, support, and care coordination. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic medical record. Work night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am Monday through Friday with weekend and holiday rotation. Nurse-to-patient ratios typically range from 1:4 to 1:6.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
- Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience
- Active New York State RN license
- Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems
- Night Shift 7pm-7:30am
- Monday through Friday, weekend and holiday rotation
