Job Summary
Conduct onboarding and orientation for new staff, deliver training and continuing education, and update policies and procedures. Evaluate evidence supporting clinical practice, implement changes in safe patient care delivery, and ensure staff competency while prioritizing organizational education needs. Oversee and teach critical care and other specialty components of the education program. Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and meet strategic organizational goals. Maintain current Washington State RN license and American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current Washington State RN license
- Current American Heart Associations; BLS/CPR
- Minimum of 3 years current nursing experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's degree or higher
