Job Summary
Develop and deliver educational programs for nursing staff, leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to promote clinical excellence and patient safety. Support orientation programs, competency validation, and continuing education for licensed and unlicensed healthcare professionals. Drive performance improvement initiatives using evidence-based practice and innovative learning strategies while mentoring colleagues on patient care equipment and clinical technology. Requires a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing with critical care experience, current state license, and AHA BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- 3 years of critical care nursing experience
- Associate degree in Nursing
- 10 years of hospital nursing experience
- 5 years of hospital nursing experience
- active enrollment in an RN-to-BSN program
- Current applicable state nursing license
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice
- ability to positively influence patient care delivery
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of patient care equipment and clinical technology
Desired Qualifications
- Specialty certification or active pursuit of certification related to area of responsibility
- Two years of teaching or educational experience
- Additional life support certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, TNCC, and/or ENPC
