Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) drives high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Surgical ICU across the designated shift. Collaborates with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with policies, serves as a resource for staff, and models the organization’s values to support exceptional patient outcomes. Responsibilities include facilitating admissions and discharges for efficient throughput, participating in ongoing quality assessments, partnering with subject-matter experts and managers to foster teamwork, promoting service recovery when needed, executing nursing strategies to improve engagement, guiding interviewing, selection, and training of staff, assisting with staff scheduling, and managing supplies and equipment. Requirements include Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days, RN licensure, and a Bachelor's Degree.
