Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN - Med Surg Oncology site-based leadership role focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include guiding admission/discharge processes, coordinating nursing care with the management team, fostering teamwork across the unit, supporting service recovery and patient engagement initiatives, guiding staff interviews/training and performance evaluations, assisting with staff scheduling and labor management, and overseeing inventory and supplies with adherence to productivity guidelines. Requires active Texas RN license (or multi-state compact with Texas licensure within 60 days), 1 year of nursing experience, and BLS within 30 days of start.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (RN Compact License holders must obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire)
- 1 year of Nursing experience
- Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate Degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
