Coordinate all Preop/PACU functions during designated shifts, ensuring efficient admission and discharge processes and high-quality, patient-centered care. Direct and monitor nursing care in collaboration with management, while assessing service quality and supporting service recovery initiatives. Collaborate with subject matter experts to foster teamwork, operationalize nursing strategies like employee rounding, and assist with staff scheduling and inventory control. Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, and implement training, development, and disciplinary actions to ensure compliance. Obtain Advanced and Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date. Trident Ambulatory Surgery Center serves the Charleston and Lowcountry area, performing over 400 procedures monthly across multiple specialties.
