Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator role coordinating plans of care and acting as liaison among providers, departments, and schedulers. Responsibilities include hands-on nursing assistance, triage and medical advice, coordinating testing, scheduling, referrals, and prior-authorization support; patient education and counseling; supporting nursing staff; and staying current with knowledge through conferences and educational opportunities. Requires active RN license, BLS certification within 30 days, and 2 years RN or 5 years LPN experience; preferred BSN and specialty certifications. Travel may be necessary within multiple locations; position appears to be in Morgantown, WV with WVUH West Virginia University Health System.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
- Two years’ experience as an RN OR five years’ experience as an LPN required
