Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN) for the Mom Baby Unit with leadership responsibilities in collaboration with the Director to guide a team of medical professionals. Lead department operations including fiscal, human resources, and strategic planning, participate in hospital committees, and drive staffing and competency development. Manage day-to-day operations such as payroll processing, department expenses, and staff evaluations; maintain a staffing plan that meets census needs and ensures appropriate skill mix and staffing levels. Promote a positive, professional, and compassionate work environment while holding staff accountable. Requires Colorado RN license (or valid compact license), BLS, NRP, and BSN (or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years). Required Qualifications
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse License or valid compact license
- Current BLS, American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required
- Bachelor Science Nursing or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years of hire required
- NRP, required
- Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience required
- Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
