Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator Med-Surg leads coordination of patient care on a busy medical-surgical unit, serving as clinical resource and role model for bedside nurses, ensuring standards of care, safety, and regulatory compliance; collaborates with physicians, APPs, therapists, case managers, and ancillary teams to develop and evaluate individualized care plans; oversees staffing, directs admissions/discharges/transfers, mentors new nurses, and participates in interdisciplinary rounds; performs comprehensive assessments, administers medications, documents in the EHR, and supports infection prevention and patient safety initiatives; drives quality improvement and supports professional growth within Mission Health's collaborative, compassionate care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
