Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Inpatient Surgery) manages unit coordination and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care during the designated shift. Works with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care per policies; acts as a resource for staff; supports patient throughput through admission/discharge processes; collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to improve outcomes; implements nurse strategies (employee rounding, hourly rounds); contributes to staffing, interviewing, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions; assists with staff scheduling, inventory control, and supplies. Requires Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), RN license in Colorado or multi-state, and an Associate Degree in Nursing. Prior RN supervisory experience in hospital medical-surgical oncology or related areas is considered.
