Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care. Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care services, collaborate with management to direct and evaluate nursing care, and serve as a resource for staff. Collaborate with subject matter experts to improve outcomes, support service recovery, and operationalize initiatives like employee rounding. Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, including implementing training, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations. Assist with staff scheduling and manage practical labor aspects, while supporting inventory control and managing supplies and equipment. This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit during the designated shift.
