Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator on the Acute Care unit responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating nursing functions across admission, throughput, staffing, and development initiatives. Roles include ensuring efficient admissions/discharges, collaborating with management to improve patient outcomes, implementing nursing strategies (employee rounding, hourly rounds), guiding staff training and development, participating in performance evaluations and policy compliance, coordinating scheduling and labor, and assisting with inventory and supplies to support a high-performing unit.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years applicable experience
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
