Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Emergency Department oversees day-to-day clinical operations, directs a team of care-givers, and may provide direct patient care as needed. Responsibilities include managing unit workflow/throughput, ensuring safe, high-quality patient experiences, guiding staff development, and leading clinical performance management. Requires IL RN licensure, BSN (MSN preferred), BLS/CPR, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience with preferred management experience. PM/Night rotation with weekend shifts; participates in patient discharge planning and unit leadership to promote safety and quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum of 3 years experience in appropriate clinical setting required
- Prior management experience preferred
