Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day clinical operations in the Emergency Department, lead a team of care-givers, and ensure high-quality patient experience. Responsibilities include managing unit workflow and throughput, taking direct patient care when necessary, guiding staff development and counseling for clinical and customer-service excellence, and taking the lead on clinical performance management. Requires current IL nursing license, BSN, BLS/CPR certification, and a minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience with management experience preferred. PM/Night shifts with rotating weekends. The role emphasizes safety outcomes, patient care quality, discharge planning, and staff mentoring in a Magnet-hospital–level environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum of 3 years experience in appropriate clinical setting required
- Prior management experience preferred
