Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Emergency Department, PM/Night shift at Evanston Hospital. Responsible for managing day-to-day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput, leading a team of care-givers, and providing direct patient care when necessary. Ensures safety outcomes and high-quality patient experience; guides staff development, mentoring, and coaching; leads clinical performance management; supports discharge planning and patient/family education. Requires current Illinois RN licensure, BSN (Master's degree preferred), and BLS/CPR certification; minimum 3 years’ clinical experience with management experience preferred. 40 hours per week, 8-hour PM/Night shifts with rotating weekends; Magnet-recognized organization with a focus on professional growth and development.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of Illinois
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in appropriate clinical setting required
