Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator oversees day-to-day clinical operations and unit workflow in the Emergency Department, with responsibilities including direct patient care when necessary, guiding and directing a team of care-givers, and leading clinical performance management. Requires IL RN licensure, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred), BLS/CPR certification, and at least 3 years of clinical experience; prior management experience preferred. Day/PM coverage including weekends; 40 hours/week. Focus on safety outcomes, high-quality patient experience, staff development, and discharge preparation in a Magnet-recognized network of facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in appropriate clinical setting
- Prior management experience preferred
