Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing services in the Cardiovascular ICU. Key duties include collaborating with the Quality Manager on quality initiatives, providing care for open-heart surgery patients and general ICU patients, and leading a team focused on clinical excellence. The role requires a bachelor's degree in nursing, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, stroke certification, and at least one year of nursing experience. New Graduate RNs are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved nursing program with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification
- ACLS Certification (obtained within 12 months of hire)
- NIHSS Stroke Certification (obtained within 10 weeks of hire)
- At least one (1) year of nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Charge Nurse or Supervisor
- Quality Improvement/Data Analysis experience
