Job Summary
Conduct competent, evidence-based nursing care in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization lab, managing STEMI, TAVR, pacemaker, and peripheral vascular procedures. Perform assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation while overseeing hemodynamic monitoring, IV medication management, and sterile environments. Provide one-to-one patient care with a 30-minute response time, rotating through nights, weekends, and holidays. Utilize BLS and ACLS certifications to support critical thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration. Join a Magnet-designated unit with a Platinum Chest Pain/MI Registry status, offering personalized onboarding and strong physician engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana
- Active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program
- More than two (2) years of acute care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Advanced life support certifications
- 30-minute response time
- Rotating call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Management of IV medications
- Hemodynamic monitoring and response
- Pulmonary adjunct management
- Cath/EP lab‐specific technology
- Maintenance of sterile and aseptic environment
- Interdisciplinary communication
- Critical thinking in high‐acuity situations
- One‐to‐one patient care
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program
- More than two (2) years of acute care experience
- Additional advanced life support certifications
- STEMI

- Watchman procedures
