Clinical Nurse BMT Oncology 9800 (Saint Louis)

Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within BMT Oncology unit guidelines. Promote patient and family-centered care by educating families on illness management, post-treatment home care needs, and medication administration. Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including patient preferences and cultural values. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development. This safety-sensitive position requires a constant state of alertness.
