Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for the 32-bed BMT Oncology unit, focusing on leukemia care, autologous stem cell transplants, and graft vs. host disease. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration while promoting patient-centered care in a healing environment. Develop and document individual plans of care in collaboration with interprofessional team members, ensuring communication across the continuum. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including spiritual and cultural preferences. Work in a constant state of alertness within a safety-sensitive position. Rotating schedule with sign-on bonus eligibility.
