Clinical Nurse - BJC Healthcare

Clinical Nurse provides direct patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Promotes patient and family centered care, educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care needs and medication administration. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial and emotional needs; develops and implements individual care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team; evaluates patient response and modifies plans throughout the stay. Engages in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance and participates in professional development. Role is safety-sensitive. Requires RN licensure; a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree is required with Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
