Job Summary
Clinical Nurse on the Behavioral Assessment Response Team (BART) providing direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing standards. Responsibilities include promoting patient- and family-centered care, educating families on illness management and home care, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance, developing and documenting individual care plans with the interprofessional team, and communicating across the continuum of care. Role supports the BJC Nursing Career Ladder and involves nights (7pm–7:30am), weekdays Monday–Thursday, 36 hours per week, with holiday rotation; unit emphasizes escalation prevention and CPI-event response across pediatric behavioral health patients.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Behavioral Health RN experience
- RN license
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's
- CPI trained
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Nursing license active in Missouri (implicit from location)
