Clinical Nurse

Perform Apheresis procedures autonomously in critical care, emergency rooms, and outpatient centers, including plasma exchange, red cell exchange, leukapheresis, stem cell harvests, and photopheresis. Conduct venipunctures, access central venous catheters, and vortex/bard ports. Assess patient status relative to therapeutic apheresis using the nursing process and laboratory results, while evaluating medication compatibility for safety. Coordinate closely with physicians and nurses at various hospitals to arrange treatments and facilitate coordinated care. Act as a consultant to external healthcare personnel regarding clinical apheresis. Assemble, restock, QC, and maintain supplies and equipment to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Schedule is variable 1st shift Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with rotating on-call duties. A current state RN licensure, CPR certification, and Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience are required. Valid driver's license and good driving record are mandatory. Full COVID-19 vaccination is required by start date.
