Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive outpatient care for diverse patients with clinical neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis conditions at the UPMC Multiple Sclerosis Center. Perform infrequent inpatient consultations for complex neuroimmunology cases and gain exposure to neurorehabilitation, neuropsychiatry, and women's neurology. Participate in research under faculty supervision across clinical, translational, or data tracks, including clinical trials and machine learning applications. Present at national or international conferences and teach residents and medical students. Complete scheduled didactics including biweekly case conferences and monthly journal clubs. The clinician track lasts one year, while the clinician-scientist track spans three years.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully graduated from an accredited adult neurology residency program (or the equivalent) in the United States (or Canada)
- Unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania
- Completed the necessary credentialing prior to the start of the fellowship
- Not a visa sponsor (implied requirement: must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship)
