Job Summary
Conduct outpatient clinic care for diverse populations with complex neuroimmunology conditions at the UPMC Multiple Sclerosis Center, complemented by infrequent inpatient consultations. Rotate through multidisciplinary exposures including neurorehabilitation, neuropsychiatry, and women's neurology, while participating in clinical trials and a prospective cohort study. Clinician-scientist fellows engage in supervised research across clinical, translational, or data tracks, presenting at national conferences and teaching residents. Complete biweekly case conferences, journal clubs, and weekly case discussions. Submit applications during PGY3 for a July 1 start date; the program does not sponsor visas.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully graduated from an accredited adult neurology residency program (or the equivalent) in the United States (or Canada)
- Unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania
- Completed the necessary credentialing prior to the start of the fellowship
- Applicant must be available for the start date on July 1 of PGY5 for adult neurology residents
- Applicant must be available for the PGY3 application timeline
