Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient care in the outpatient clinic at the UPMC Multiple Sclerosis Center, including infrequent inpatient consultations for complex neuroimmunology cases. Gain exposure to multidisciplinary settings such as neurorehabilitation, neuropsychiatry, and the autoimmune encephalitis clinic. Participate in research under faculty supervision across clinical trials, translational studies, or data analysis tracks, while attending biweekly case conferences, journal clubs, and weekly discussions. Present findings at national or international conferences and teach residents and medical students. The clinician track lasts one year, and the clinician-scientist track spans three years.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully graduated from an accredited adult neurology residency program (or the equivalent) in the United States (or Canada)
- Unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania
- Completed the necessary credentialing prior to the start of the fellowship
- Applicant must be eligible for the SF match
- Start date on July 1 of PGY5 for adult neurology residents
