Job Summary
Conduct outpatient care for multiple sclerosis and clinical neuroimmunology patients at the UPMC Magee-Women's Hospital, complemented by infrequent inpatient consultations for complex cases. Manage exposure to multidisciplinary settings including neurorehabilitation, neuropsychiatry, and the autoimmune encephalitis clinic. Participate in research tracks for clinician-scientists, covering clinical trials, translational studies, or data analysis using neuroimaging and machine learning. Attend biweekly case conferences, monthly journal clubs, and weekly case discussions, while presenting at national or international conferences and teaching residents. Complete the one-year clinician or three-year clinician-scientist track with an individualized training program, applying for the match by PGY3 for a July 1 start date in Pittsburgh, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully graduated from an accredited adult neurology residency program (or the equivalent) in the United States (or Canada)
- Unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania
- Completed the necessary credentialing prior to the start of the fellowship
- Applicant must be eligible for the SF match
- Start date on July 1 of PGY5 for adult neurology residents
