Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive clinical neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis patient care within the outpatient clinic and infusion unit at UPMC Magee. Perform infrequent consultations for complex neuroimmunology patients in the inpatient setting and gain exposure to neurorehabilitation, neuropsychiatry, and multidisciplinary autoimmune encephalitis clinics. Participate in research under faculty supervision in clinical, translational, or data research tracks, including clinical trials, biomarker studies, and neuroimaging analysis. Engage in biweekly case conferences, monthly journal clubs, and teaching opportunities for residents and medical students. Present findings at a national or international conference. The clinician track lasts one year, while the clinician-scientist track spans three years. Applicants must hold an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license; visa sponsorship is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully graduated from an accredited adult neurology residency program (or the equivalent) in the United States (or Canada)
- Unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania
- Completed the necessary credentialing prior to the start of the fellowship
- Applicant must be eligible for the SF match
- Start date on July 1 of PGY5 for adult neurology residents
