Job Summary

Coordinate patient care by developing bonds with patients, reviewing medical histories, and arranging pre-op testing. Schedule surgeries in person or over the phone, send requests with CPT codes to authorization, and confirm medical necessity. Act as a liaison between the clinic, surgery center, and physician to communicate with surgeons, facilities, and vendors for continuity. Resolve patient requests constantly while ensuring conversion metrics and customer satisfaction. Requires RN license preference, BLS, and 2+ years healthcare experience. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, travel within the Austin Metro Area, and possess excellent communication skills.

Required Qualifications

  • BLS required or may be obtained shortly after hire
  • 2+ years of work experience in healthcare setting and/or Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet or equivalent software
  • Must thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel to other clinics in the Austin Metro Area as needed
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • Strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of computer systems
  • Ability to prioritize and execute when pulled in different directions
  • Ownership of work

Desired Qualifications

  • RN license is preferred
