Job Summary
Board-certified/eligible metabolic geneticist for a full-time faculty role with a clinical and educational focus. Responsibilities include patient care (inpatient consults and outpatient genetic clinics), teaching medical students and residents, and engaging in research with protected time and opportunities for intramural and extramural collaboration. The position supports program development across neurogenetics, cardiogenetics, cancer genetics, dysmorphology, and congenital anomalies, with a new inpatient facility opening later this year. Loma Linda University Clinical Lab is building a state-of-the-art genetic/genomic testing laboratory; Loma Linda University School of Medicine offers an accredited MS in genetic counseling. Compensation ranges from $238,000 to $278,000 base, with relocation assistance available if applicable; California residency is required at start. Relocation support is explicitly offered. The opportunity is based in Highland, CA, US with on-site responsibilities at the medical center and Children’s Hospital, including the region’s largest Level IV NICU.
