Job Summary
Lead the Clinical Medical Social Work team to improve social, emotional, functional, and physical health for patients and families. Model professional social work practices, promote advocacy per the NASW Code of Ethics, and ensure ethical decision-making, appropriate documentation, and clear interpersonal communication for assigned staff. Collaborate with leadership and internal stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate Clinical Medical Social Work services. Maintain a current Ohio Social Work license and MSW degree. Requires LISW licensure (LISW-S preferred). Work involves occasional exposure to biohazard waste, blood, and bodily fluids, as well as frequent lifting and repetitive hand use.
