Job Summary
Clinical Medical Assistant needed to support patient care and clinic operations in West Des Moines clinic. Responsibilities include collecting and recording patient information (medical histories, vital signs, test results), preparing exam rooms and instruments, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, administering medications under supervision, and aiding patient movement before/after procedures. Front office duties include answering calls, scheduling appointments, registering patients, and maintaining medical records. Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance, restock supplies, participate in annual training, and collaborate with providers and staff to deliver excellent patient-centered service. Requires High School Diploma or GED; Medical Assistant certification may be required; at least 1 year healthcare experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and solid knowledge of medical terminology, confidentiality standards, and healthcare documentation; strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
