Job Summary
Provide care to patients and significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, following established standards and practices. Coordinate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care. Assist physicians or other providers with clinical procedures. This role offers flexible scheduling with 36-46 hours per week and potential overtime. Clinics are located in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan, operating Monday through Saturday from 7:30am to 7:30pm. Candidates require a high school diploma, at least one year of clinical experience, and current CPR/BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of clinical experience in a medical office / clinic or hospital setting, or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
- Record of prior stable employment and / or favorable references
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with at least one year of recent experience as a medical assistant
- Current certification as a medical assistant or eligible for certification
- Current CPR / BLS certification
