Job Summary
Conduct advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline and facilitating required skill labs with an assistant instructor. Grade class assignments and exams while maintaining current knowledge in subject matter areas and effective teaching strategies. Mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards, ensuring appropriate professionalism and conduct throughout the Vallejo High School program partnership.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field
- Current CPR certification
- Must be available Tuesday: 3:45 PM to 5:45 PM
- Must be available Wednesday: 2:45 PM to 5:45 PM
- Must be available Thursday: 3:45 PM to 5:45 PM
- Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately
- Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards
- Highly organized and detail oriented
Desired Qualifications
- Career Technical Education or similar teaching credential
- Familiar with A&P
- Familiar with Medical Terminology
- Familiar with Basic Pharmacology
- Familiar with Medical Math
- Front office experience
