Job Summary
Conduct advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following established course outlines and facilitating required skill labs with an assistant instructor. Grade class assignments and exams while maintaining current knowledge in subject matter areas and effective teaching strategies. Assist in student learning outcomes and mentor students to hold them accountable to program standards. Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct throughout the 8-10 week program cycle. Available for weekday evening shifts in Live Oak, TX, with no teaching experience required.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field
- Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math
- Front office experience
- Back-office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience
- Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately
- Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards
- Comfortable with computers and technology
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Current CPR certification
- Applicants must be available during our weekday evening schedule
- IN PERSON- TUESDAY/THURSDAY; 5:30pm-9:30pm
- HYBRID - MONDAY/WEDNESDAY; 5:30pm-9:30pm
