Job Summary
Room patients, obtain histories, record vital signs, and prepare individuals for exams while assisting with procedures. Administer injections and prepare medications per provider orders, then educate patients on treatment plans and post-visit instructions. Perform X-rays with provided training to earn top-of-range pay, fit patients for DME, and manage medication inventory. Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records in NextGen EHR and ensure clinical areas remain stocked and organized. Adapt across 2–3 metro Atlanta clinics based on daily need, working with orthopedic physicians, PAs, and nurse practitioners.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Military Medical Specialist
- CMA, RMA, or equivalent — or actively working toward it
- EHR proficiency
- Reliable transportation
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Able to bend and stoop regularly
Desired Qualifications
- NextGen preferred
- X-ray or ARRT certification
- 2+ years MA experience in a clinical setting
- Orthopedic, multi-specialty, or personal injury experience
- Bilingual English and Spanish
